AA Falconry, situated at Staple Fitzpaine in Somerset, has been breeding birds of prey by artificial insemination (A.I.) since 1990. The Director, Angelo Canape, was amongst the first in Europe to breed Goshawks by A.I. and brings a wealth of experience to this specialised field. Satisfied customers come from all parts of the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East.
Many customers request the A.I. service at their home aviary. In addition to our own breeding programme we inseminate 10 to 20 female Goshawk throughout Europe every year. Our own breeding stock (Falcons and Hawks) are specially selected from experienced working birds. This selection of quality bloodlines produces strong and capable birds for use in hunting, displays or breeding.
